Ace star Vikram's new movie ‘Kanthaswamy’ will finally get into theatres by the 15th of August. The release of the movie, which was under production for the last two years, was shifted many times. The new tamil movie which was planned for july 10th earlier now postponded due to the final graphics work.
Directed by Susi Ganesan, the movie is said to have been completed in a whooping budget of 70 crores. In kerla, the movie distributed by Thameens, will grace seventy theaters on the same day.The much awaited, mega budget film of the year Kanthaswamy has created all the hype ever since it was announced. The film has Vikram and Shriya in the lead and is directed by Susi Ganesan. The latest news we hear about Kanthaswamy is that the overseas rights have been lapped up by Ayngaran International for Rs. 5 crore.
Both the producer of Kanthaswamy, Kalaipuli S Dhanu and Arun Pandian of Ayngaran International has confirmed the news. However, both were not available for further comments. Kanthaswamy will be distributed by AL in the UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada Europe, Dubai and Sri Lanka. Interestingly, the film will be dubbed in Spanish and Italian to attract the European market. In the US, the movie will be distributed by Bharath Creations.
Meanwhile Suriya's ‘Ayan’ is still maintaining its position in top five list, for the last two months in Kerala. The increasing number of fans of the star has been making repeated viewing of the film, which has resulted in this unexpected big run. The movie is still continuing with its regular shows in all important metros of the state, even after celebrating fifty days.
