This new Malayalam film Rathinirvedham, directed by T K Rajeev Kumar is all about a coming-of-age story of sexual awakening where a young man named Pappu, falls for an older woman named Rathi. This new film will focus more on the emotional relationship between the young lad and older lady and hence it won't have extensive sensuous scenes.
This new film Rathinirvedham will have Shwetha Menon in the role of Rethi Chechy which was made immortal in the original by Jayabharathy, while relatively fresher star Sreejith plays the role of Pappu, the young man, played by Krishnachandran. K.P.A.C. Lalitha is the only member of the cast who was also part of the original film. Manian pilai raju, Guiness Pakru, Resmi Boban are also in the cast of the movie.
This new Malayalam movie Rathinirvedham produced by Suresh Kumar, under the banner of Revathy Kalamandir, will have music director M.Jayachandran, who sets the music to lyrics by Murugan kattakada. Rathinirvedham is scheduled to release all across Kerala on June 10th.
