Vijay - Sonam Kapoor pair in Murugadoss new Tamil film

The latest to hear from the Tamil film industry is that A R Murugadoss, director of the hit film Ghajini (both in Tamil as well as in Hindi) had approached Illayathalapathi Vijay with a well written script and after hearing it and being deeply impressed with the storyline, Vijay immediately gave his nod to go ahead with the project.


It is also hearing that the director is planning to rope in a Bollywood beauty for this upcoming Vijay starrer. According to some reliable sources, it will be Sonam Kapoor of Bollywood, making her debut into Tamil film industry through this film. Harris Jayaraj will set in the tunes while Nirav Shah handles the cinematography, whereas, Aascar Ravichandran and S.A Chandrasekar will produce this yet-to-be-titled project on first copy basis. It is also said that Fox Star Studios will market and take care of the release of this flick, worldwide.



This new Tamil film will kick start only after both Vijay as well as A R Murugadoss completes their current projects. Vijay is currently busy with his Shanker directed Nanban (remake of Hindi film '3 Idiots') and Velayudham. Then he will go on to act in Seeman's Paagalan. On the other hand, Murugadoss too is busy with his Surya starrer, 7 am Arivu.
