Prithviraj opposite Mammootty in an Amal Neerad film

The most sensational news that comes out from the Malayalam film industry is that the Megastar Mammootty and Bigstar Prithviraj will join together in a new Malayalam film to be directed by Amal Neerad. This is for the third time both these stars are joining together for a film, after the disastrous One Way Ticket (in which Mammootty was in a cameo) and last year's top grosser Pokkiriraja.

This new untitled Malayalam film will be the second one for both the stars with it's director Amal Neerad, who have done BigB with Mammootty and Anwar with Prithviraj. This new film will feature the script written by Shanker Ramakrishnan, who was also the script writer of much acclaimed Prithviraj starrer Urumi. The other interesting fact related with this new film is that Prithviraj will appear as the villain in this movie.

This new untitled Malayalam film will kick start it's shooting very soon, which will be produced by Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Natesan and Prithviraj in combine under the banner of August Cinemas.
